My 2002 v6 grand am ran bad 4 about 2 weeks then it completely quit runing I had fuel pump replaced but now it keeps shooting a fuse my mechanic said

If the fuse problem started only after replacing the pump, then common sense tells you to start there with your checking. Unplug the harness to the tank and see if the fuse holds. If it does, then they messed up something in the wiring and the tank will have to come down again.
