My peugeot 206 is loosing power when I try to excellarate and making a buffing like backfiring. The trans fluid level is good and the condition also.

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?

Don't have the references to this vehicle however you can check the exhaust system for restriction-also check the fuel pressure if its within specs-sorry
