2002 frontier 4x4 3.3 s/c truck won't start, it will turn over fine. When I turn the key to try to hear if the fuel pump turns on there isw a buzzingf sound coming from a rectangle box with several boltrs about 2 feet in front of the tank. Doesn't look like it would be the filter but I don't know what would buzz there? This problem started other day went to store in the rain and came out it wouldn't start, after abouit 10 min. It started and ran fine. Drove it that nigfht with no problems, next day sarted fine, didn't move it, started again drove less than 300 yards and it quit at stop sign and won't start.

Will it run if a small amount of fuel is sprayed into the throttle?

Fuel Pump

Disconnect fuel pump harness connector. For location, see FUEL PUMP HARNESS
CONNECTOR LOCATIONS table. On Frontier 2.4L, measure resistance between fuel pump
connector terminals No. 5 and 6. See Fig. 44. On I35, Maxima and Sentra, measure resistance
between fuel pump connector terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig. 45. On Quest, measure resistance
between fuel pump connector terminals No. 2 and 3. See Fig. 46. On all other models, measure
resistance between fuel pump 2-pin connector terminals. On all models, resistance should be 0.2-5.0
ohms at 77°F (25°C). Replace fuel pump, if resistance is not as specified.

The part you are talking about clicking is probably the EVAP caniser vent solenoid. Have all codes read as a first step.

The evap vent solenoid would not cause it not to start or wouild it? I replaced fuel punmp and fuel filter and fuel relay swithch but I can't hear the fuel pump come on, maybe due to the solenoid in evap making noise? Not sure what to check next, any suggestions thanks

The fuel pump will only run for 2-3 seconds did you test the fuel pressure? And the resistance as I posted? Readings? Sometimes the evap cannister solenoid cause starting problems but would normally set a code, is the check engine light on?
