Told we need a new engine is it worth buying a rebuilt engine?

What would the car be worth needed an engine with 143300 it is a v6 3.5 Need to know how much we could sell or trade our Altima for with it needing a new engine. Is it worth buying a rebuilt engine we are told by our local nissan shop that rebuilt come with approx 50,000 miles for cost of $4700.

you could try different non dealer shop or put ad on net/paper locally for mechanic to change engine or fix it. much cheaper than dealer.
