I press on the gas it wants to die

2002 Nissan altima. 4 cylinder 2.5s when the vehicle is in park it idles fine but when I press on the gas it wants to die and it also jumps up and down at 2500 rpm and wont go any higher. What could it be

I have checked for air leakes as well as tested the tps and im stumped im not sure what else to check

Fuel pressure/flow test? Throttle body dirty? MAF sensor dirty?

Im not sure how to do a fuel pressure test and I checked the throttle body

Wants to die and jumps up. So you have a lag effect? What if you press throttle very slowly. Still do it?

If I press really slow it goes up to 2500 rpm and jumps up and down

No but the SES light came on right when it started the problem
