When I turn the blower on inside the car, the a/c compressor is getting red hot at the a/c clutch, whether I turn the heater or air condition on. If I turn it off the car seems to run fine. Is this a sign that the compressor or a/c clutch has/ is going out? If I dont turn on the blower(heat or a/c) do I need to replace it right away?

The clutch may be set to close and needs the air gap made largere. It may need a new a/c clutch.
