M A/C is hot from the drivers side but cold on the passenger side. My compressor turns on for five seconds and then it turns off. The hoses that are connected to the compressor are new. What could be my problem?

Hello,

The fact that one side is cold means the system is charged. It sounds like you have a temperature blend door actuator for the drivers side. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job and the location of the actuator for your car below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-blend-door-motor

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers

You need to check for loose or damaged linkage. Also, make sure the door is not sticking on something.
