High pitched whine from engine, comes and goes, I have been told my water pump is going out. It is not a metallic sound. No performance issues, water pump is not leaking. Have had the sound for several months, but it seems to be getting worse. It goes away after reaching 35 miles an hour. Thanks for your help

We cannot hear it to confirm. Could be the pump. You need a second opinion from someone to confirm.
