2002 Mercury Cougar Electrical

I have a 2002 mercury cougar and recently when I turn my car off and then start it the digital clock on the gauge cluster resets. I was wondering if you had any possible causes for this happening and/or solutions? It just recently started happening.

Greetings,

Are the gauges sweeping when you start the vehicle as well? You may want to check the fuse #34 as this is most likely the culprit.

Yes that's exactly what is happening the gauges sweep right when I start the car. I will check fuse 34 and let you know what I find out. Thanks for all your help.
