I have 2002 kia spectra. I took out alternator and drove it for about five miles on hiway. And it just shut off on me.I put an alternator in and now it wint start. It acts like its notgetting fuel

You drove it with no alternator? What did you do with the belt driven accessories? As far as the no start, have you checked to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel to the engine?
