I am finding some kind of fluid leaking from underneath my van. The lead is located up near the front of the van closest to the front passenger side wheel. The fluid is reddish in color, but doesn't leak all the time. I have monitoroed all fluid levels in the van and see no lose of fluid in either PSF, Oil, Transmission or Brake fluid. What might be the leakeage and why am I not seeing any loss from the area's I check.

Red usually indicates trans fluid. By any chance is the coolant in the vehicle red?

Both the trans and PSF are red. I have continually checked the trans fluid and there is no loss of fluid and this leak seems up to high for the tranny as it's near where the rack/pion is for the steering. I have had tranny leaks before and they are usually more centered under the car and more back towards the middle.

My guess is either a trans cooling line or a PS cooling line is leaking. The PS fluid usually isn't red, however. It sounds like maybe someone added ATF to it which was fine years ago, but shouldn't be done on the newer cars.
