Hi, I was driving my car and the red charge light went on, took care to mechanic, and he has change the inbuilt regulator two times and the light does not get off. So he told me that the regulators possible does not work with the car electron system.

So I bought a rebuilt jaguar alternator on line on a well know company with one year guaranty, so today he re-install the new one he told me that the light is still burning and that the alternator is not good for the car.

So I was thinking 3 times different alternator and the same problem, that means that the problem is not the alternator.

so can you please help me out with this problem.

and please what will be the value off this car now built 2002

Let's start with the key in the run position you should have battery voltage at the two red wires at the alternator? Also at the green wire with a blue stripe?
