I have Honda Stream 2L 2002 Japanese import. The engine light came on and anytime I press the accelerator pedal, the engine stop working. A mechanic garage I took it diagnose it and said there Timing Belt Sensor needs to be replaced. He could not replace it. Another Mechanic diagnose it with diagnose tool, he said the Camshaft Sensor needs replacement. Iam so confused. The car starts normally but when I pedal the accelerator the engine stops. What can I do? The Honda Dealer said the Camshaft sensors cost 81euros without VAT. Can somebody help me out please.

I have a similiar problem: I changed the sensor yet the car wont start. I was driving when the power to the car just shut off. Scan giving code p1362 TDC sensor 1 no pulse. What seems to be the problem? Help please!

Can you crank the engine?
Did you check for sparks at the plugs?

Have singapore honda stream 2006 while driving car suddenly shut down. It starting very easy but cuts off after a few seconds had test done nothing showing up engine check light off. When start an accellerate reevs to 2000rpm in seconds an cuts off change computer, cam sensor cran sensor trottle body, same problem test every thing no solution ready to burn down car. Any help.

After engine stalled, were you able to restart and if yes, was it easy?
Were the fuel system checked?
Did you use the scan tool to monitor the various sensors?
Does it occur everytime or only intermittently?
