Honda CRV EX engine burning oil pls help

Hello,
I have a Honda Crv 2002 EX, 250k on it and for the past 4 months engine is burning oil, it is like I fill castrol 10w30 aprox 4.5l-5litre oil from Easy lube every 3000km and than after every 1000km 1litre is gone and now when I check my oil it is showing black and I did took it to a mechanic when this issue started and he put some kind of engine cleaner with the oil said that will fix the issue and since that day even after fill new oil it will be black and that mechanic now says that I have to change engine as once engine burning oil there is no fix for it, please help and advise if there is any suggestion.

He should not have put any type of cleaner in there. The only one those things help is the person that sold it. It is dissolving sludge in there now that should have been left where it was because now it just gets circulated throughout the engine.

You're oil consumption could be caused by any number of reasons and needs to be diagnosed by a competent technician and I don't believe the one that sold you that junk is one of them.

I'm afraid there isn't much you can do now. The damage is done. Frequent oil changes will help but it may take a while for the oil to stop immediately getting black. The oil consumption problem needs to be accurately diagnosed before you will know how to correct it, if that can be done at all.
