2002 Holden Commodore Engine won't start

Vx commodore v8- Have brought a new engine, fitted it but car won't start. Checked starter motor and fuel pump ok. Battery good. Engine clicks but nothing else. Tried to bypass immobiliser still won't start.
Any suggestions

Check the starter again, if the starter is just clicking either the starter is faulty, you have a battery or earth problem or the engine is very tight and will not turn, check all these first.
