I ran out of gas, and upon getting gas to get started I was able to make it to the gas station get gas and make it home. No problem, but the next morning nothing. Would not turn over as if the battery was dead. I had the battery checked no problem. Did running out of gas cause this problem?

Have the fusible link running off of starter checked it may be burnt up. then check fuses under hood and in car.
