All of the illuminated icons cruise, seatbelt, blinkers, gear selection all work but the backlight does not work I checked most of the bulbs and they were fine. I can't find a fuse that is blown that would be for this. I am not exactly sure where to start with the wiring. Any idea where to go with finding the problem please help

Download the images to your system. That way you can view them full-size. It looks like the system gad trouble with the second one, so I'm re-posting it.

Even downloaded the image is unreadable. Can you please give me a suggestion on where to begin trouble shooting? Thank you for the answers so far.

Huh. Both version are more than readable on my little laptop. Pull the dash panel/instrument cluster out and make sure the connectors are firmly connected. Check the pins on both sides of the connectors. Look the connectors over to check for loose or missing wires. Check the cluster grounds.
