2002 Ford Windstar Hood Release

2002 Windstar hood won't open unless somebody is at the hood, while somebody is pulling the release.

Lube the latch and make sure the spring is pushing the hood up. It will either be a lever on the latch or a spring on the center pin. Try tightening the center pin if thespring is on that.
