2002 Ford F-150 upper mainfold

If your upper manifold is cracked how is the easies way to replace this? I took it to the shop and that's what they said. I asked if I could buy and bring my own parts they said no.

It is just a matter of removing the present intake and replacing it. Make sure to first disconnect the neg battery terminal. Then release fuel pressure at the rail, remove the throttle body then the upper intake. Make sure to properly torque the new parts.
