Ford f-150 4x4 with 4.6 and automatic trans. Truck has sat for 2 months. Ran fine before. Experiencing rough acceleration from dead stop, then smooths out. Also surges at highway speeds.

I would start with basics. Replace the plugs and add some injector cleaner to the tank. Fresh gas may help as well.

Has fresh gas. Wouldnt bad plugs make the engine run rough constantly? I will replace plugs and try the injector cleaner as you suggested. Thank you for responding so quickly.

Not constantly, just occasionally. I would start with basics before looking into other stuff.
