Transmission problem

will a bad pressure control solenoid harm my transmission if i continue to drive my 2002 Ford Explorer. i already had it diagnosed and that is what the garage told me was the problem. but i dont have the money to fix it yet and its my only vehicle

If system pressure is to high it will cause seals to blow, if to low depending on conditions the trans may start to slip, get this fixed or it may cost a lot more when something fails.
