I have an 02 explorer it has a faint ticking sound while in gear and under a load the only time you can really hear it is if you are beside something. What could be causing this problem? It also is sluggish sometimes when pulling out from a stop sign
Do you
have the same problem?

Check for exhaust leak if leaking will give O2 false reading and lean out bank leak on causing sluggish
