3 days ago I changed the oil in my 2002 Daewoo Nubira, opting to put in Royal Purple for quality. I then drove the car over 2 hours to get home with absolutely no issues. Drove it around the block a couple times after with no issues.

Then yesterday I was driving to work and about 30 miles into my trip my oil pressure light came on. No other sounds or symptoms. I pulled over, let the car cool, and then checked the oil. Dipstick had a perfect reading. When I got back in the car and started it up the light was off.

What causes this? Will it most likely come on again? If it does should I just drive on through since I know the oil is good, or could something else be faulty?

Honestly heres my safest answer the actual oil pressure has to be measured when the light comes on to make sure you dont have a low or no oil pressure issue. Just because the oil is full doesnt mean the oil pressure is good. You could also have a oil pressure sending unit going bad as well. As far as driving it with the oil pressure light on I cant tell you to do that I wouldn't risk it.
