Coolant leak issues?

2002 chrysler sebring 2.7 leaks coolant when I first start it then if I drive it around it seems to stop seems weird to me I have worked on quite a few cars and really havent looked into this very much just added coolant but I want to fix it

Hello,

It sounds like you could have a leak form a gasket.
As it will leak when the engine is cold. But after startup every heats up and components expands, 'sealing' the leak.
You need to do a cooling system pressure test to better observe where the leak might be coming from.
Just be sure the engine is cold.
You should be able to borrow the testing tool from your local auto parts store.
