The car has been overheating so I changed the ect sensor. While changing that I also changed the thermostat. The car still overheats when I drive short distances and when it is hot outside. I have used coolant also put oil in the car and everything else I could think of. So how do I replace the cooling fan or what is the problem.

Does the radiator fan run? Also, check for applicable trouble codes. Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free. How hot is the vehicle getting in degrees F? Besides the temp gage, any overheating issues?

Might be air in the system?
