My car start but rattles a lot

Instruments were working at first and not stop working, only fuel gauge is still working.

Car start but cannot drive of when but in Drive (Autostick Gearbox.
Its a 2.0lt DOHC Engine. We diagnotic thecar and the fault it gives is P0601 Control Module Check Sum + P0118 ECT Circuit High.

Please advise if I have to change the ECU or PCM or how do I remap the ECU or PCM. Is there a program I can get off the internet and how do I boot the information from my PC to the car.

One thing to check on PT Cruisers is the fron sub-frame and mounts. They are notorious for rusting out. This could explain your plethora of problems as the motor not sitting where it should and moving around will create all sorts of problems. Not to mention it is a safety issue.
I think newer PTs have a sub-frame made of higher quality steel. So, if this is the case make sure you get the newest model year you can.
