Is $3500 for 1yr warranty 160000 miles on a used engine a fair price? $550-750 for labor depending on what has to be changed out?

$3500.00 for a warranty??? That's more than the cost of a new engine. A used engine with 160,000 miles is not a good value unless the cost is real low. You weren't clear on what costs apply to what. Why do you need a different engine?
