2002 Chrysler Concorde Miss

When sitting at a stop sign it shakes once about every ten seconds. Sounds like engine is missing but not sure if its that or transmission problem. Only does it in gear. Also check engine light comes on and may stay on for awhile but goes off eventually. Just bought the car used so don't know anything about it. I have had it for about 2 weeks and it didn't do it until just a few days ago.

What you need to do is have the computer scanned when the check engine light is on. That way, you will get trouble codes that can identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will scan it for free, so stop at one when the light is on and let me know what they tell you.

Thanks Jacob! We had the scanner put on it and it said it was misfiring. We changed the spark plugs and it runs fine now!
