A 2002 Chev TrailBlazer 4WD. I have a vibration and loud road noise increasing proportional with speed. I had tirers rebalanced, reinflated and rotated - no improvement. Tire guy suggests it is a "bearing". He wasn't sure if a wheel or drive train bearing. Is he on right track? Is this something a "weekend warrior" can handle?

The issue might be as the "Tire guy" suggests. It may also be beyond what I think is acceptable risk for a "weekend warrior" as there could be special tools needed to perform/complete the task. I recommend that you schedule an appointment with your Chevrolet service provider straightaway to resolve this issue.
