2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer Just Had New Battery Installed Now Check 4wd Amber

Just had a new battery installed and now the "Check 4WD" amber light is on constantly. It has been "flashed" but refuses to shut off. Any suggestions?

"Flashed" What does this mean? I ask because I dont know why you would reflash to clear a fault light and then not properly diagnose it to begin with.
