It use to only happen once and awhile, but now it does it just about every thine, also, I don't know if this problem is related, my gear shift also locks up. I am only able too start the cat and drive if I start it in neural. Please help!

Whare gushes? Gauges? If this is a digital dash the dash is preobably bad and needs to be redone, check online for that. Have your nuetral safety switch checked for adjustment or being bad.

All gauges; speedometer, tac, gas gas gauge, oil temp; all but odometer, which isn't a gauge. It isnt a digital dash, its all physical.

Ok see if the plug is all the way in at the back of dash then check the grounds, one at engine transaxle and the other at steering column bracket they could be loose or dirty causeing this. I am assuming you have checked fuses under dash.
