I have a 2002 chevey cav aswell I'm having a hard time finding the Input Speed sensor I already changed sensor on passenger side any help?

The sensor is internal. It requires removal of the side cover on the transmission. If I recall, the engine / trans needs lowered. Do me a favor, (it has been a long time since I dealt with one of these) see if you can remove the side pan from the transmission. If you can without lowering everything, it will be easy. If not, then you basically need to darn near remove the trans. If you look at pic 3, it shows where behind the pan the sensor is located.

1. Remove the wiring harness connector at the input speed sensor (46).
2. Remove the input speed sensor bolt (15) and the input speed sensor (46).
3. Remove the wire retainer clip bolt (15) and retainer clip.

85. INPUT SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION
Important:
The tab on the sensor housing (46) fits into the recess on the case boss.
For drive sprockets with 35 teeth, use a black sensor housing. For drive sprockets with 32 or 33 teeth, use a natural colored sensor housing.

1. Assemble the input speed sensor (46) to the transmission case (51).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the input speed sensor bolt (15). Hand start the bolts.
Tighten the input speed sensor bolt to 12 Nm (9 ft. Lbs.).
3. Route the input speed sensor wiring harness in the case channel.
4. Connect the input speed sensor connector to the input speed sensor.
5. Install the wire harness retainer and wire harness retainer bolt.
Tighten the wire harness retainer bolt to 12 Nm (9 ft. Lbs.).
