Sevice engine soon light came on, Ran a check and came up with p0308 code. Was getting poor mpg. Said #8 plug was fouled. Changed out all plugs and greatly improved gas milage. Light stayed on. Unhooked battery cables for 15 minutes and still on. How to take service engine soon light off?

Go into on board computer, push the off and warmer buttion on a/c panel untill all segments are lit. Then the codes will show. Then hold the off and hi button down it will flash release. Then hold down the off and low buttons down it will flash. You just cleared the pcm and bcm codes. Go back in and recheck codes because if you have any current codes they wont clear. Gl
