How do I replace a neutral safety switch in a 2002 Buick LeSabre

No neutral safety switch with auto trans. There is an interlock switch on the brake pedal. It unscrews after you disconnect the wiring harness connector.

According to the book it does have a neutral safety switch and parts places carry it. Just not sure how to get to it.

Again, what your car has is a park safety interlock. It detects when the transmission is in Park and your foot on the brake, allowing you to start the engine if those 2 conditions are met. This is located on the brake pedal bracket. That is the only switch that even resembles a neutral safety switch that your car has. A neutral safety switch is for manual transmissions; stick shifts. THOSE are usually mounted on either the clutch pedal bracket (does your car have one of those?) Or the side of the transmission near the shifter linkage.
