if the ABS light is on, then there is a problem with the braking system.
If the traction light is the only thing on, you may have pressed the over-ride button and turned it off. (sometimes you need to do it to get out of snow or mud)
Other than that, you will need a high end OBD-II scanner that can talk to the EBTCM computer.
