I have those built in vent shields and have to remove my door panel to replace the power window lift motor. I cannot get the door panel off and it seems to be getting stuck where those vent screens are. Is there a trick to getting these off? I dont want to pull and break anything but I need to get the motor replaced as the window is just taped up right now and it has been raining daily. Is there something special I should know about? (I also dont want to damage the side air bag)

The door panel will come off with the vents. It requires that the screws all get pulled and the panel be lifted off the center support, it sometimes requires a bit of force.
