Volvo croscountry 2001 locks/lights

My volvo crosscountry 2001- the locks and interior lights have stopped working suddenly. Lights work when I open the door, but not when I try to push the button to turn them on.

What do you mean with the locks? Is it when you use the remote to unlock the doors or the switch at the door that you are having problems with? Did you replace the rear view mirror assembly with a used one? Do you now also have an SRS light? Let me know.
