2001 VW GTI is blowing hot air. Checked freon level and it's full - almost over full. Should I release some or does it sound like a problem with the compressor?

Does compressor engage? What are static High and Low side readings?

I'm really not sure b/c I'm not working on it now. I'm pretty sure the compressor does engage.?

The freon can shows it to be in the "alert" zone
