Left indicator wont work

I had this on my golf mk4, finally traced it to the front passenger foot well there are block: connectors for the wiring harness and one of the female spade connectors had snapped, there is also block connectors in the side panel in the back passenger side just above the parcel shelf, these can become wet with water from the rear wash wiper tubing connector in the roof lining which is a common fault on golfs, hope this helps
