Why my consumes more oil yet does not show smoke

What grade of oil are you using and is it a mineral oil or a synth oil, also any external leaks if it is burning oil it will show as some excess smoke have someone follow you and watch as you accelerate and also back off in top gear also check for blue smoke on cold start up.
