Check engine light is on

My check engine light is on. Near my engine there is a low clicking/rattling sound. It only happens when I take my foot off the gas. Also, my fourth gear grinds when I put I put it in gear. Mainly when I shift down.

What do you think is the problem?

USUALLY THEY WILL CODE IT FOR FREE!

SOMETIMES THEY WILL MAKE SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG. CODES CAN BE INTERPRETED IN DIFFERENT WAYS

SO DO THIS:

WRITE DOWN "EXACTLY" WHAT THE NUMBER(S) ARE."STUPID" EXAMPLES P0141 AND P0156. NOT JUST WHAT "AUTO FELLER" TOLD YOU THEY MEAN (BUT YOU STILL CAN INCLUDE THAT TOO). THEY MAY BE CORRECT IN YOUR DIAGNOSES!

UNFORTUNATELY OTHERS SHOW UP HERE, CODES HAVE BEEN ERASED AND THERE IS NO CLUE TO WHAT THEY WERE

ALSO LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ABNORMAL SYMPTOMS (WHILE DRIVING) OTHER THAN WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY DESCRIBED
