Do you have two remotes? Did you change the battery in the other to make sure it's just not the one bad remote? Could be the remote that's bad, a bad replacement battery, or a bad communication between the car and the remote, possibly the reciever part of the keyless entry. Ensure you have a good, brand new battery, and try it from inside the car just in case it's a reception problem. Let me know what you make of it. Thanks!

I just tried reprograming my remote and I only have one remote im sure its a brand new battery. Is there anything else I can do? It has done this before but it started working 2 days later and now it has stopped working completely.

Check the contacts in the remote. Make sure there's nothing in the way of the battery like lint. Also, make sure it has some spring pressure on the contacts so you know the battery is indeed tight and making good contact. Check the battery with a volt meter, I asked about the battery because sometimes those batteries sit around for a long time before being purchased. It's not like they're in as high demand as AAs
