2001 Suzuki XL7 gas tank

When I pump gas in it backs up and click's off gas pump. I'm thinking venting problem I look underneath the fill neck at the top has two rubber hoses going to the engine compartment I think. Cant find anything under hood. Is their a air vent valve our canister? Can I clean out the hoses? Blowing com pres air throe hoes to clear out. Thanks. Tree stump

IS there a breather that goes to where you fill the tank?

Gas tank..... Yes the breather is the two hoses that go to were you put gas in. One house on each side of neck laying on ground looking up. But the 2 hoses push on 2 nipples that berth through to outside air when you put on gas not plugged up I pulled them off push wire through. Were dose the 2 houses that go to engine compartment plug in don't see canister our were thy end up. Also if I take hoses off and blow com press air through one shouldn't air come out the other? I don't want damage any thing so I haven't tried that yet. Wy 2 hoses anyway? Thanks Tree stump.
