Heating smells

When I turn my heater on it smells like gas inside the car the car is cold when this happens if I chage the cabin air filter will this make it stop.

So do you have a LW100 LW200 or LW300?If you have a raw gas smell you have a gas leak somewhere.

Then you have a 2.2L 4 cyl engine not a V6 2.6L you put. So can you smell gas from the front of the car or the back of the car?The most common place I have seen them leak fuel from is the fuel pump module right at the nipple where the fuel line comes off of it. They crack and leak there. If you have a raw fuel smell changing the cabin air filter wont fix that. You have to find the source of the smell.
