HAVE A 2001 SATURN l300 70000 MILES JUST BOUGHT. I THINK IT'S HAUNTED. BLOWER WORKS WHEN IT WANTS BUT IF I SLAM A DOOR IT WORK. NOTICED THE LIGHT ON THE INSIDE OF DRIVERS DOOR WASN'T WORKING SO I DECIDED TO FIX THAT BUT IT TOOK OUT THE CABIN LIGHTS. DISC If the blower stops just slam a door & it works. I have ordered a new one should be here this week.
There are lights ot the bottom of the driver & passanger doors I noticed only the pass was working. Took apart the drivers door and it was unhooked so I hooked it up & it blew the fuse for the dome lights,
Also I had a remote starter installed yesterday. They mentioned the blower motor and if you slam a door it will work. They also stated that now the cigarette lighter was working. Well I tried and found a fuse put it in and it blew in my hand. Lookig twards the rear window the big brake light on the rear window isn't working either. Hounted or a huge traveling short?
Thanks,
Guy

If it cause it to work when the door is slammed -check wiring harness to the blower motor, also check resistor and blower switch

Just to add to this one usually the blower working on and off like it is a bad connection at the blower or the motor itself. The motor isnt easy to get to you have to remove the cowling from the base of the windshield and remove a blower motor cover as well. Also have to be careful its really easy to break the recirculation doors when acessing the blower motor. As far as the third brake light goes if that doesnt work but the lower left and right one do its not a fuse. Because all the brake lights are on the same fuse. What are all the fuses labeled that are blowing?
