I just had my oil changed in my 01 Saab. The car has 68,000 miles on it. I had synthetic oil put in because it was recommended. I drove about 100 miles home today and began to notice more exhaust coming out than normal. I turned off my car and when I went to restart it, it had a hard time starting. The exhaust has a burnt smell to it.

NOTE SYN TYPE OIL IS A VERY GOOD OIL TO USE BEEN THE SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS WE FACE DAILY WHILE DRIVING, SO THERE SHOULD NOT BE A ISSUE THERE, AS PER MORE EXHAUST, CHECK THIS & POST BACK, IN THE MORNING WHEN FIRST STARTING DO U SEE A LOT OF WHITE SMOKE BEHIDE CAR, IF YES THEN U HAVE A TURBO SEAL GOING BAD ON THE EXHAUST SIDE, BUT IF U HAVE OIL IN THE INTAKE SYSTEM LIKE THE THROTTLE BODY THEN THE TURBO SEAL ON THE INTAKE SIDE IS BAD, SO CHECK THAT & POST BACK, GOOD LUCK.
