2001 Pontiac Grand Prix shifts fine in all gears except won't go into drive.

Did you check the shift mechanism on the transaxle? Set the e-brake, have a helper sitting in the vehicle with their foot on the brake. Halfshafts and everthing ok?

Tranny fluid ok? Take it to a tranny shop.
