2001 Oldsmobile Alero 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 99,000 miles. My car sounds like it is dragging something its pretty loud, and feels a bit sluggish. I also wanted to add that it gets louder when I step on the gas. Hopefully I might get some ideas on what this might be. Thanks!

You could start by checking the exhaust components to make sure they are still up where they belong and not hanging down, dragging. Also, we would check the brakes and certainly the hub and differential bearings as they can make a lot of noise when going bad.
