How to adjust steering gear box on a Nissan Xterra 2001?

Last week we have a small accident, when another car stop on my driver side wheel. Everything looks really good on front drivetrain. Just the steeringwheel is loose about two inches.

Have you checked steering/linkage for damage? I dont think adjustment is the answer.

Those adjustments are for initial setup at the factory. They shouldn't be touch later on and definitely not as the result of a collision.
