How does the car run? Is the check engine light on? If it is, what is the code?

When was the last time you had a tune up?

The car runs fine, excellent power, no check engine light, I had it tuned up 4 month ago, but still backfire not all the time. Thank for your care

My concern is the backfiring in the intake may damage the mass air flow sensor. It does not like sudden pressure and fire. The timing could be retarded causing the backfiring as well.

I did not understand the first part of your reply. The backfire happens in the exhaust. I will check the timing.
